I used to do press releases in the art world and I can assure you no one is holding out on press releases, they want that info to get to as many people as possible, all you have to do is go to the website of a particular team and find the section for media. and email them that you would like to be included on the press release list. it is usually that simple they are usually happy to add emails to the mass emailing that they do, you can also go to the website below, they post all the latest sports press releases for all to read.

What are some tips for asking for press releases from Pro Sports Teams?
I had a somewhat successful sports website in the past (local Indianapolis sports), but I found my biggest challenge was lack of original content as the mainstream media got press releases and I did not?
