I really really really like Dim Dim. For most of my use I get away with the totally free version. It requires no download unless you do desktop sharing then it requires a tiny browser plugin that you dont even have to restart the browser and meeting to use. Best is that the attendees download NOTHING! WORKS ON MAC AND PC

It would also save on server space, since it's a free service (ad based). Take webinars to the next level, in the cloud. Who cares about the power points anyways? You could actually "CO HOST" another account in with ustream that is hooked into any powerpoint type presentations on another computer and show it as well.
My company does weekly webcasts live with ustream, and it goes really well. If you have the bandwidth, you can even use the adobe media encoder to get hd quality video.

What are some alternative products to WebEx and GoToMeeting?
My association runs monthly webinars and archives them, so I am looking for varying product offerings to see which one fits our current need the best.

If it's something simple and not needing the advanced tools, you might just use something like ustream.tv and a web cam. Just video the presentation on the camera, and you can archive it in multiple ways. It would also save on server space, since it's a free service (ad based). The Powerpoints are important in our case since the webinars are of a technical nature. We currently have 100-200 people dial in to a toll-free # to listen to the speaker while he scrolls through the slides, but this is not cost effective since there is no two way communication. Ideally we would like to have the presenter speak and go through slides, having the attendees watch and listen without the need for a phone call (VoIP is a solution) and archive this for playback on demand. Higher quality would be nice since the current WebEx archive quality is quite poor.
