There's tons of hash-tags. You could probably guess them, but here's what I recommend:
Search for your interest(s) at http://search.twitter.com (I didn't even know this existed until a week or so ago). It will give you varying results, many containing related hash tags that other people are using.
For instance, I went to The Wicked Winter Renaissance/Fantasy Faire for the first time this weekend, and after searching on twitter for the convention, found a few people using the tag #wickedfaire. The rest of the weekend, I used that tag to track what was happening at the con when I was at one particular event and even to see what was happening after I had left.
It opened me up to what was going on, and even what I was missing so I can better plan for next year when I attend the convention.
