Here are some cool sites (all of which I have accounts for - you can check out more as well as my usernames on all here - http://www.google.com/profiles/mpbracco)
http://mag.ma/
aggregates top videos across all major video sites.
http://nizmlab.com/
a pretty cool user curated video site (usually "artsy" type videos)
http://gdgt.com/
A cool site where you claim the gadgets you own and find info/connect with others around those gadgets.
http://enjoysthin.gs/
A really neat site where users clip content from webpages that they enjoy. After doing so, those images are placed into a grid of all the images that user has enjoyed. Pretty cool little web app.
http://simler.com/
A neat little service where you sign up and give yourself interest tags. Based on those tags, you can then engage in conversation with people of similar interests.
http://dailybooth.com/
A site whereby you take a picture of yourself or whatever you want whenever you want and give it a description. You can follow people and people can follow you. It's sort of like twitter in how it works but is focused around images.
http://www.hunch.com/
A really cool recommendation engine where you answer a bunch of questions about yourself so that the service can help you make decisions you are trying to make. It was founded by the woman who founded Flickr.
http://www.lazyfeed.com/
Rethinking RSS subscription. Instead of subscribing to sources (websites), you subscribe to topics (tags) and then get a realtime stream of info from blogs that have posts related to that tag.
http://www.geni.com/
A must for developing your family tree. Basically you add your family to your tree. However, when you add them you enter their email address. They then login to the site and help to build the tree. It basically is a way to build out your family tree with minimal efforts since your crowdsourcing the development among your family. Great App!

I'd like some reccommendations on exciting/fun/interesting/useful social networking sites (or anything similar, where you have own account).
It's been a while since I've signed up to a new site that I love and I'm sort of itching for something new to add to my list:
Mahalo;
Multiply; http://louisefrhodes.multiply.com/
Blogger; http://www.blogger.com/profile/01275684795927693219
myLot.
These are the sites I've signed up to that I use regularly and love using.
I also have the obvious Facebook and Myspace accounts, plus a few others elsewhere that I've forgotten about...
So, does anyone have any reccommendations on sites they use and love?
Please only mention sites you use already as I'm looking for opinion answers based on experience ;)
