How much does Microsoft spend on bandwidth a month?

I am looking to find out how much Microsoft spends a month on their bandwidth. Between all of the services they offer such as Windows Update, MSDN and everything else, I am curious to know what their bandwidth bill is and just how much bandwidth they use every month (Xbox services included).

In 2004 they had a $70mil "data network budget".
I don't know of any more recent figures.

I don't know if this is any help, but this site has statistics for how much bandwith they are trying to save. http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/b/1/4b104a1c-fb27-4f1d-ad8f-9c516e04e85e/OptimizingBandwidthTSB.doc

Most people agree that Microsoft has farmhouses containing 200,000 servers in the value of 150 million dollars, plus a monthly expense of about 8 million dollars due to the company server about 1-2 petabyte a day.

I am pretty sure it is impossible to answer this question because there are so many different divisions within MS that use bandwidth. I would estimate in the high double digit millions a month given that they run a slew of services. And don't forget all the updates they push through Windows Update as well.

I'm sorry but this question is next to impossible to answer. I could give you links to budgets and amounts, but those wouldn't be right. The only possible way to figure it out would be to get in touch with Microsoft and see if you could get datasets for expenditures on each datacentre and any other facility requiring data purchase.
