I thought at first they must outsource the transcription work to other companies, but then after watching this video, it's clear that it's automated, you can clearly see the error the automated process produced thinking "hey" was supposed to be "a the they"

I'm guessing it works on the same principle as OCR machines, that can scan in books, and digitally detect and then transcribe the scans into actual text files, just in this case it being audio to text.
