Do you believe there are too many Twitter applications or sites or services that use Twitter?

This is just a very small sampling of them. What did we do before Twitter? Do we need all these things or is this just a hyped services? Can you add more to the list?

Yes, I think there are a lot of twitter apps but I don't think that it is a bad thing. Over time, I think that list will naturally be culled as the poor apps die out and lose user base while the good ones will naturally rise to the top.

I don't know that there are too many, but it is very confusing for a noob to figure out which one to use. Especially if you want to use it as a tool and not just something to blast your time away. It would be great if every application would link to some kind of wiki that defined what the different Twitter aps do, to streamline the process.

One you didn't list: Twitbox, so you can tweet right from your desktop.
