If the question is referring to the large number of 'un-follows' within a short period of time, then the explanation for which could be one of many reasons but is most likely that Qwitter processes accounts on a periodic basis and (I believe) has recenty been having trouble with the volume of users resulting in some accounts having not been processed for a while. Therefore the large number of unfollows in a small period of time is infact an inaccurate representation of all the people who have unfollowed in the past X weeks (or since the account was last processed).
