Once again we have a class of drugs that people are taking for one problem that is actually causing another. Is it really worth the harm we

end up doing to ourselves in the longrun to take these medications? And can't something be done to have the companies that manufacture them to do more extensive testing before releasing them to the general public? Ninety percent of the people who had this cancer had taken the drugs. That seems so high that you would think they would have seen something in their trials... and if it was only that it needed more years to show up, then should we require them to test these for longer periods instead of rushing them to the market to make a profit more quickly?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

If you were dying, would you want to wait for some tests?

Every drug you take has it's side effects. This is just one of the worse ones. They do run these tests and have a good idea of the results and someone decides that it is worth the risk.
