However, when dining out, I feel even worse when using a pay-one-eat-for-two coupon. Especially in a restaurant, it is customary to pay more than the base sum (for the tip), and using a coupon is counter-intuitive to that. M$The only instance that I think I would be a little more reserved in coupon use would be if I were having a business meeting with a very important client and my financial future was in his hands. I wouldn't want to look like I was pathetic and looking for sympathy. But if I were having lunch with the president, I would use a coupon to make a point.
In normal every day occurances, there shouldn't be any reason to feel awkward. If they didn't want me to use them, they wouldn't put them out there.
