On what occasion would you wear a wooden necktie?

I love the website instructables and get daily updated ideas of crazy things to make.
I just saw an article on 'How to make a wooden necktie (or bow)'
http://www.instructables.com/id/Wooden-Necktie-and-Bowtie/

Please give me some great ideas or places you would wear a wooden necktie.

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Every occasion where I wanted to be perceived as creative, unique, confident.

I would go so far as to say that if someone were to choose elegant pieces of rosewood, mahogany and other rich colored woods with exquisite grain patterns and fastidiously cut the "seams" to work properly with the grain, then these just might become the new "power tie." (See tie on the right - if pic appears - as example.)

And just for the record, anytime you where a tie made of rayon you are wearing a tie made of wood.

I think that even @laxap from the instructables website would drool over those!
Wow... thanks for finding some other cool work too.

Job interview for a computer company, no joke. You would definitely stand out there. Or perhaps if you were a cabinet maker or some sort of construction person who had to wear a tie that day. I would totally wear it then.

Perhaps you could wear it on earth day?

Uh, if it's for a woodworking company, you'd have to be careful if the owner says "Lemme show you 'round the shop..this here's our lathe...."

Wear it on Earth Day? Good choice! What about Abor Day? Or is that a little too cheeky?

Every June 1st you could in celebration of the birthday of Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood wear a necktie made of wood. Ronnie Wood has his own line of clothing that "wooooood" also complete this celebratory outfit and I am sure he "woooood" appreciate the gesture. (1)(2)

There is a slight resemblance to this other "Woody"

I think it should be mandatory for Mr. Wood to carry wooden ties in cool new swanky shop!

Isn't this obvious. After the great beaver war of 2017. The beavers will rise up and try to take over the world starting a massive war. To end the war we will have peace negotiations with the beavers and wear wooden ties to distract the beavers.

Wasn't the build up to the war started when they took over the menial woodworking construction jobs back in 2012?
