Oktoberfest is a 16 to 18 days festival. It starts in late September and runs to the first weekend in October. For that reason the dates are different every year. This year the festival will start on the 17th of September and will end on October the 3rd, lasting for 17 days. Oktoberfest first started in 1810. It is the world's largest fair. The beer that is served every year is specially brewed in Munich and has more alcohol in it than other types of beer. Oktoberfest is worth visiting. I will be there this year, I suggest you do the same and have an unforgettable holiday.
