On the xbox360, is there a way to change the Netflix user once you have put one in?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

It seems the best way to switch Netflix users is to deactivate your Xbox as a Netflix-ready device, then setup the account again with the other Gamer Tag.

You can do this by going into your Xbox's Settings blade on the Dashboard and choosing memory. Go to the Hard Drive, select Games, and find anything marked as Netflix. Delete it using the A button.

After that, get online and go to netflix.com. Sign into your account and go to Netflix Ready Device Activation. Choose your Xbox and deactivate it.

Now get back on your Xbox and sign in on the other account. Go to the Video Marketplace section. Select the Netflix icon and download the Netflix files. Follow the onscreen prompts, get your account set up, and in theory, everything should work as it did, but on the new account.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I'm not 100% on this, but when you first use Netflix on your Xbox 360, you have to download a 3-4MB file. What if you were to go into your 360's settings and delete that file. I think you want to go under the Memory option and it will show everything you've downloaded to your 360, like games and demos and such, and I'm assuming that Netflix file should be in there. So if you delete that file, then re-download it, it might ask you for the activation information again.

I believe that you can switch users by logging into your netflix account on another xbox. When you log into another xbox, it forces you to have to enter in an activation code again on your old xbox. I believe that you can then change your log in info then.

Hope that works. Let me know if you try it because it would be nice to know if it does.

The only other thing that I can think of is to add another user on your xbox and log in through that avatar instead. I would think that it would force you to enter in different info.
