On the iPod Touch 2G, can I adjust screen brightness in the middle of watching a video?

I could do it with my video iPod. Do I really have to exit out and go to settings to adjust brightness? Is there something I'm missing?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Figures, you catch me on the day I upgraded to an iPhone and now my iTouch is sitting at home. I *think*, if you have auto brightness turned off, that you can hold down the Home button during a video to bring up a brightness slider. But without the ability to test that I can't say for sure. This does not work on my iPhone, though, I just tried it.

I don't believe this is the case. I just tried it. Thanks anyways though.
