It truly is awful news and the fact that Suu Kyi will have her house arrest period extended again, while the American who caused this mess, John Yettaw, gets bailed out by US Senator Jim Webb. How is this justified? Anyone with an ounce of sense would realize that the consequences of going to Burma and swimming across the lake to her closely-guarded house was too much of a risk, and unfortunately, Yettaw gave the junta all the reason they needed to extend her house arrest. Not to mention, his wife has suggested that her husband did Suu Kyi a "favor". Sadly, Yettaw gets to come home to his family and also gets to have some time in the limelight with various media outlets, while Suu Kyi suffers from Yettaw's utter stupidity.
