How long have you been on Mahalo Answers? How long do you think it will take you to get to Purple Belt?
It took me 22 days
Mind you, I have been on this site for approx 3 to 4 hours on the average (min) everyday since I started.

Congratulations on the purple belt!
I've been here thirteen days. I predict I'll be at purple belt within seven days. My answer quality has gone up a lot, and I've found that answering fewer questions in a more thought-out fashion has led to more points and money instead of less.

Congratulations! Since December 17th, 2008. Almost two weeks, so I believe I can get it in 3 weeks if I keep it up!

Three weeks is really fast!
I've been here 8 days, and I think I probably will never get a purple belt, but I congratulate you on yours!

Well, the goal when we started would be at least four weeks for purple and two or three months for brown.
Seems like the most dedicated folks are doing 200-300 points a day. So, 10 days to purple if you're dedicated. If you're average I'm guessing 100 points a day so 20 days. We're going to have to keep raising the points as we go... for now it's fine, but truth be told I thought the first purple belts would be Jan 15th+ and first brown end of February!

I have been on here from the beginning. I think it will probably take me 4 - 6 months because I only answer a handful of questions a day. The "real" job gets in the way of that :)
15 days so far. If I stay interested, it will be about 7 weeks. That's a big if.

I'm almost half way to green. I can see purple belt happening for me by 2010
couple months most likely, since Im usually on during work, and the loyalty page counter doesnt seem to work for me either
