Some people spend lots of time and money on the car that they think best reflects them. Some don't. It's arguable as to which group has cars most aligned with their true likenesses. I think most cars can mean both positive and negative things, depending on the person making the judgment, and it only gets worse as you edge towards the extremes. For example, is someone who drives a Rolls Royce extraordinarily smart and successful, or extraordinarily wasteful and arrogant?

But then again, sometimes it's the opposite. Like someone who is tiny might buy a huge SUV to get the feeling of being bigger than others on the road, or someone who has trouble moving around, might be a fast car so they can move around fast on the road.
Overall I think people tend to choose a car that is like their personality.

A person's car does tell something about them.
Just that the PERSON should be allowed to talk about it, and why.
NOT the car.
that is, just because someone drives a hot, red sports car, doesn't mean they are HOT. (haha) just kidding......... but there are a lot of short, bald, middle aged men, with inferiority complexes (pretending to be movie stars) driving hot red sports cars... :)

I think this is often the case. People will choose a car that is like themselves. Someone who tries to be cool might get a sports car. A big tough guy might get a pick up truck. Old people tend to drive Buicks hehe it's true! But then again, sometimes it's the opposite. Like someone who is tiny might buy a huge SUV to get the feeling of being bigger than others on the road, or someone who has trouble moving around, might be a fast car so they can move around fast on the road.
