I was going to say "You should ask Patti Smith", and embed you her version of "When Doves Cry". It's amazing.... she is such a brilliant artist. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a version anywhere online. The record companies work overtime to eliminate her stuff, even on YouTube. I found a different song by her, I know it's a stretch, but if you want to hear something really unique, check it out.
