Accused of or charged with disorderly conduct? You may face misdemeanor charges and penalties of up to 12 months in jail and/or a fine of up to $1,000 if you are convicted.
Let me start by saying, in this case 12 months &/or $1000 would seem very stringent, however the regulation covers a broad spectrum so over all I don't believe they are too strict (Particularly when looking at the last item)
Acts of a nature so as to corrupt public morals
Acts that outrage the sense of public decency
Acts that affect the peace and quiet of those who witness them
Brawling or fighting
Now to address how I would handle it . . .
If I could be "judge for a day" Interpreting the existing laws I would do a short house arrest & probation, 2 weeks followed by 2 months perhaps? Depending on his abilities some community service may be available too.
If I could be "king for a day" and do with laws as I see fit I would say "Freedom of Expression!" Have a nice day. I would make a pretty laid back king . . .

A 1st degree misdemeanor has a maximum penalty of 1 year in jail and a $1000 fine.
Riding his bike around in a speedo seems perfectly legal although not very attractive. According to the above video above I saw nothing disorderly. The title insinuates he is naked though he is not. He can walk on any beach wearing those shorts so I don't see any reason why he can't ride his bike with them. Just as a woman would not get harassed by authorities for riding her bike in a bikini.

Tallahassee's "Speedo Man arrested. What is the sentence for "misdemeanor" disorderly conduct in Florida?
The Bikini Bicyclist, Richard Irby was arrested this week for allegedly exposing himself. Irby is a local celebrity who rides his bike wearing a bikini bottom, sometimes a thong or even a G-string. He apparently receives some kind of govt. assistance because he suffered a traumatic brain injury as a teenager. (He was hit by a car.)
He was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct. How will he be punished? Do you think the charge is fair?

Disorderly conduct is a first degree misdemeanor under Florida criminal law (FL. Statute ยง509.143). A 1st degree misdemeanor has a maximum penalty of 1 year in jail and a $1000 fine.
