Hi
She is married and her husband left her behind with their 6 children.
My personal opinion is that this Woman needs to be set straight - no mater what the situation is or how bad she is hurting for money she should NEVER put her children into any situations like this - what if some idiot decides just for the heck of it he will win this auction and then name the baby dibs--t ... A they would never allow the name B in that case she would have to pay the money back and C might get banned from ebay which means she is out of luck with making some quick and easy money LEGALLY !!
If her husband is in the Navy and has in fact left them behind she can get support from the military - depending on his rank and years in the Navy as well as numbers of children she get partial BAH ( housing ) and child support which will be all taken out of his Base Pay before it even hits his account.
If they are still together then I doubt that it is that bad that they have to do this - the military (period )supports the family's - yes the paycheck they do get for their job is not enough for what they should get but you have no rent,no utility's and you shop tax free on post ( btw I was married for 7 yrs to a US Army 1rst SGT ) and if it gets really to the point that you are hurting for food or money the Chaplains will give you Food Coupons and the Unit gives you money to help you out till the next paycheck !
If you have that many kids and you get left - dont auction off your childs future get up and get a J-O-B and dont have anymore kids ( doubt the issue just popped up as she got pregnant again )

However, Lavonne believes that he will be supportive of the idea, even though most of her other family members are troubled by her decision. Lavonne is quoted as saying, "With six kids in this economy, it's horrible.... He'll probably support me 100 percent on whatever I feel is best for my family."
However, on her e-bay Questions and Answers page, Lavonne indicates that her husband has "flown the coop" ... curious!
Lavonne is unemployed and plans to use the auction money to buy a reliable car and relieve her sister's burden of supporting Lavonne's family.

Lavonne (living in Smackover, Arkansas) is married to Richard, a Navy sailor currently stationed away from the family in Virginia, who apparently does not even know about her intention to auction off the naming rights for her unborn seventh child. However, Lavonne believes that he will be supportive of the idea, even though most of her other family members are troubled by her decision. Lavonne is quoted as saying, "With six kids in this economy, it's horrible.... He'll probably support me 100 percent on whatever I feel is best for my family."
