This setup covers all of your bases. The trick is to become adept at using filters/canned responses in your gmail coupled with your calendar. I've practically built a secretary using this setup. I do it using a gcal account, two gmail accounts (one primary and one as a robot) , remember the milk gadget in gcal, and jott for when I can't text (rarely used).
I can access the entire setup through any wifi spot or by texting from my junk cell phone. I bring the whole setup full circle using a service called goosync to sync my gcal to my cell phone calendar. It's a very robust system, all parts are fully integrated, and best of all FREE!
