On March 10, 2009: When asked if Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D) is on track to be confirmed as Health and Human Services secretary, Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA), the ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, said, "If she doesn't have tax problems, it'll go pretty fast."
According to the Washington Post, "President Barack Obama officially nominated Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius as HHS secretary. He also appointed Nancy-Ann DeParle, former commissioner of Tennessee's Human Services Department, as director of the White House Office for Health Reform."

Kathleen Sebelius accepted her nomination of Health and Human Services Secretary on March 1, 2009 according to the Washington Post. On March 10, 2009: When asked if Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D) is on track to be confirmed as Health and Human Services secretary, Sen. Charles Grassley (R-IA), the ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, said, "If she doesn't have tax problems, it'll go pretty fast."
