NY Housewives - how much money do these people have? This spending seems unsustainable.

My wife forces me to watch this. I think she thinks this is "real life." The spending I see is stratospheric. What do these people (or their husbands) do for a living? How can they sustain this type of spending?

Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I have never seen the show, but decided to YouTube it just because I knew I would end up sticking forks through my eyes.

This was the random clip I found

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CV35-INOWuc

Looks to me like they are loaded, at least this chick, this does not look like a party of the average man, in fact it reminds of me perhaps the type of party a Duke would host for aristocrats in the 17th century... I would know... I time travel. The parties I attend also don't have professional photographers everywhere.

oh, lets do more

First of all, look at the size of that house... it's in the Hamptons, these are not "real housewives" this are "rich housewives".. ugh, I was trying to find a clip where they were shopping but I couldn't and I can search no more.

Don't know of the show you are referring to, but as far as reality TV goes, even the news in my opinion is somewhat suspect as far as reality goes. Documentaries, ok, maybe. But reality TV is an oxymoron if I have ever heard one.
Is it Occam's Razor that states that something being observed is altered from it's natural state, just from the fact of being observed?

Nope Occam's Razor says if there are two ways to explain something correctly, you should choose the simpler of the two.

I believe you are thinking of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle.
