about Markus Naslund
@nwl_angel What? Markus Naslund is going to retire? Wow, I didn't think that he is going to retire, only 35 years old, not that old yet!

I was surprised as well. But really, playing professional hockey in the NHL is not very easy on the body. You get pushed around beat up, etc for at least six months out of the year. Once you hit that age, you don't recover as well, and every year things hurt a little more than they did the year before.
So I guess I don't blame him for getting out when he did. It's unfortunate for New Yorkers, but you can't hold it against him for leaving such a physical sport after playing for 15 years.
