A bowl of Grapenuts mixed with plain yogurt and honey. Crunchy and sweet. Good doses of calcium, protein, fiber, complex and simple carbs and the goodness on the gut that plain yogurt delivers.

I've been eating this every morning for almost a year and still look forward to it. You can mix it up by using a different type of cereal, adding fruit, or using flavored yogurt.

I used to cook eggs, bacon, and hasbrowns every day but my wife hates the smell of bacon, so I gave up. Now I literally pour cereal into a cup, don't add any milk, and drink/chew the cereal from the cup. It's a great life.

I eat differently depending on the day of the week. I usually am in a hurry on weekdays as I have a fairly long commute to my job, so I want something I can eat in the car. Fast Food isn't good for me, so I have a breakfast bar (power bar) which still gives me energy yet it's much better than all the fat and calories from Fast Food.

On weekends, I usually eat something like eggbeaters (egg-replacements that have less cholesterol and about 1/2 the calories of regular eggs) and some toast or perhaps an english muffin.

These changes, along with changes at my other meals, have helped me to lose nearly 100 lbs in the past 18 months.

An apple and a glass of skim milk, and a fried egg is always good. I try to keep my breakfast intake down, because I'd rather eat tiny amounts of food all day (keep my metabolism going).

In any case, that's usually enough to keep me going until lunch, so it works very well in my diet.

I usually eat bowl of fresh fruit and coffee, sometimes with toast or cereal. Eating fruit is very important for our health and the best way is at breakfast time!

you're totally right! fresh fruits are the best in the morning, and I'd add oatmeal, or non extruded cereals : ) I'm not a "prescriptor" of proteins in the morning, but milk or yoghurt could complete.

I eat leftovers from the previous night's supper. That way I start the day with a big meal. Then I have an instant breakfast for lunch and a modest serving of supper at the end of the day.
