I have been drinking brewed Green Tea (hot and cold) regularly (5-8 cups per week) for more than 6 years and I have yet to get a kidney stone. I use honey as a sweetener, not sugar and I do not drink the bottled teas with high fructose corn syrup. HFCS is being studied as a cause for kidney stones. Do yourself a favor and boil some hot water and brew your own tea at home. Bottle and chill it if you wish, but stay away from the processed stuff. I also suggest Organic Green Tea. I like the Bigelow brand and I usually buy if from Amazon in bulk to save a little money.
