Drink Embodi, "Live longer, Live Better" What do you think of this tagline for the product Embodi?
I saw this product today, and purchased a few, because it said that we will live longer, and live better if we continue to drink this stuff. It actually tastes pretty good. I am interested in knowing if you can prove what they claim is true, and if you can find evidence of people who have lived longer and better because of this product? Can you find scientific research backing this product? What about "living better," can you see that a product like this really improves your life.
Is this product really better than drinking red wine? Is it a good marketing claim, or is the product really that good? Are there any less expensive ways to getting the same product?

It's true that there is a statisitical relationship between drinking moderate amounts of red wine and improved health, but as they say "correlation does not prove causality". People who are regular red wine drinkers also have a lot of other differences in diet and lifestyle from groups that don't drink wine.
However eating and drinking a wide variety of foods is good, so if you don't eat much fruit, or only drink one type of fruit juice, adding a different variety is probably beneficial.

Drinking red wine in moderation is only good for your health because of the antioxidants in grapes. You could benefit just as well from grape juice in moderation, if you could find it without the added sugar most juices have. Your liver wouldn't have to work as hard to filter the alcohol from your system everyday.
