For information only: Why are brownies the food most often made with marijuana?
Is it that the fat carries the THC? Or does it have a synergistic effect with the theobromine? Or the sugar? Or just that everyone likes brownies? What makes a good non-brownie marijuana recipie?

To expand on the answer above, THC is released through heat - so bake it and it's released into the batter, which you eat, which you absorb, and makes you irie!
You can also make a fantastic butter: simply throw it in a pan (usually 4 sticks of butter for a 1/4 oz of green) melt it all together, (till the butter is clear - but DO NOT BURN IT or it will taste gross - use a lower heat setting, and let it heat for a while so all of the THC is released) throw it in a tub and cool. If you like, you can strain it to get the leaves out, but it's not necessary. It has a nutty taste to it and is pretty good! Use it in ANYthing - toast, pasta, cakes, cookies, whatever calls for butter, you can use it! Be careful tho - it's strong!
Pretty much anything you cook, you can put it in (as, I explained, heat releases the THC).
Now go to the kitchen and have fun!! Best place to enjoy it, really, all of the munchies are right there!

#1. Low flavor. Marijuana, if you were to chew it up, has a very dull taste not entirely unlike flour. The chocolate flavor of the brownie covers this up quite well.
#2. Enters the bloodstream easily. Brownies are soft, moist, and don't take very long for your stomach to break abart.
#3. Well... brownies just plain ol' taste good. And what marijuana user doesn't appreciate good food?

also the only ingredient necessary for brownie mix is usually the mix out of the box and oil. And oil is a perfect suspension for THC to be extracted out of the plant matter and maintain it's effect.
the only thing better than brownies - that I have heard about - are lollipops! Supposedly available in some of the better Calif. based medical marijuana supply shops.

for those people who have decided aganist smoking matijuana , marijuana hold promise worth exploring
A FRIEND TOLD ME that the butter absorbs the essential oils of the marijuana. I'd imagine that people make brownies because it's easy to make them, they taste great, and the chocolate masks the taste of the marijuana. Plus, you'd be taking care of the munchies in advance! although i couldn't say for sure. (giggle)
I would imagine you could use this marijuana butter in any recipe that called for melted butter. I think it would probably go well with basil in a savory dish... like if you made pasta and dressed it with butter, parmesan, black pepper and basil. Or added it to mashed potatoes. Or dipped lobster in it.
...that's just my guess, of course. :-)
