Seeing as she is a whitehouse staffer I don't think there are any nude photos of her floating around.
I'm sure they asked her if any exist and either she said no and told the truth or said no and is confident that the pictures will never fall into anyone's hands.

What an iill-informed 'answer'. Public officials NEVER ask job applicants about 'nude photos' existing or not. That would be a totally inappropriate question and an invation of the applicant's privacy. Nor has anyone ever been dismissed from or penalized in federal employment because of nude photos. It is their right -- and their right of privacy -- that is at stake.

My answer is not as "ill-informed" as you make it seem to be. A very quick google search revealed this CNN article which shows that the white house has no problems asking personal questions.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/11/13/transition.questionnaire/

I'm sure existence of nude photos is no more personal than asking about "writings, speeches, testimony, online communications and even personal diaries."

As for nude photos being legal . . . so is owning a gun and yet it asks that as well. Likewise for facebook, having a blog, and family members, but none of that is off limits either.

"If you want to work for President-elect Barack Obama's administration, be prepared to spill almost everything there is to know about yourself."

The white house is not any old employer and can ask whatever they want. Asking about anything that might embarrass them or get them in the news for the wrong reason is top on their list.
