Tip for best answer: M$0.25

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The buzz here in San Diego about Tomlinson's future varies from him having the luxury of waiting awhile (unless some offer you can't refuse) for the dust to settle from the current free agency and the upcoming draft to see where he fits in to his role for new team - some saying a "B" to even "C" plan role. Talk of Houston (not likely) and Drew Brees currently doing some P.R. to get him to New Orleans Saints. Personally, considering he wants to play with a team that is +/- close to equal power as the Chargers (elite team status), wanting the only thing he has yet to accomplish (a SuperBowl Ring) it would not surprise me if LT becomes a New England Patriot. Worked well for the "getting a little too old, lost a step" former Chargers Rodney Harrison and Junior Seau. And the Patriots would find a way to use LT for all he's got (we'll take Wes Welker off your hands). Then of course the prime time SNF game with LT's return to SD when the Patriots come to San Diego this fall. But really -WHO KNOW'S - I'll stick to my "Call it a Hunch" answer- the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS.

L.T. has a meeting today 3/11 with Minneota Vikings. Looks like the Vikings want him - He'll fit in well .. Brett Favre already talking w/ LT .. Good backup for Adrian Peterson and LT has the hands for BF's liking. So now it looks like MV .. BUT.. LT also has meeting 3/12 Friday with the New York Jets. Also good fit with Jets -- Much bigger market, have more $, "big city" star attitude. Like Minnesota - But- he'll get banged up playing in the Black and Blue Division... TAKE YOUR PICK ..
He'll be signed this weekend I'm sure.
But LT will have a tough decision on this one.
