Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

The answer would depend how they declared bankruptcy. In a chapter 13 filing, the company is essentially liquidated, and paying off whatever debts they can. But bonuses are not first in line to be paid off, when a company's debts outweigh their assets. The bank debts get paid off first, and a bankruptcy judge can nullify the bonus payouts if the company cannot legitimately pay them back.
