This is an aerial photo of downtown after the flood in 1936.

This would be considered a rare photograph since planes were just starting to be used as public transport.

"Nashua experienced serious flooding in both March 1936 and September 1938. In 1936, the lower section of the city was flooded to depths ranging from ten to 17 feet, causing damage estimated at $1.9 million."
