Where can I find the best deal on a Nintendo Wii?

I live in Los Angeles and am happy to buy it in a store or online.

I would suggest getting up early on Sunday mornings and checking the ads that come out in the Sunday paper. Generally, stores that feature a product in their ads must have at least one of the item in stock at each of their stores. If you can then get to the store at opening (or shortly thereafter) you should be able to get the Wii.

I personally recommend Target - I used this method to purchase my Wii there at retail price (on the recommendation of one of their employees).

Good luck!

EDIT: Agh, never mind, they're out of stock at Walmart!

Online you'd be lucky to find one under $300 (retail price is $250). I strongly suggest you finding out when the next shipments are coming in at the nearest 'brick-and-mortar' stores and heading there early on that day--that is your best bet if you want to spend as little money as possible (depends on whether you consider the time and effort spent as worth the $50 difference).

Best of luck!

May be this should also be useful. http://wiidealsgrabber.com.

Wiidealsgrabber.com brings you various deals from across sellers, all in one place so you don't have to run around to find your favorite Wii Product. We do the search for you.

At this point in time, any stores or online retailers are going to have it for about the same price, $250. These are still popular and selling out frequently, so stores have no need to discount them at all.

If you are needing to find it for cheaper than that, your best bets are ebay or craigslist, although you would obviously want to be careful using these to make sure you are dealing with someone legitimate who isn't selling you a shoddy product.

If you live in Los Angeles you can surely find a Wii in downtown Los Angeles at some of the many electronics outlets. But you may end up paying more than $250.00. Hit the streets and keep asking until you find a price you're willing to pay. Some places will even haggle with you on the price. Try looking between 2nd st - 6th st between Broadway and Los Angeles St.

E-bay E-bay E-bay. Used you can pick-up the console and a couple of games for $200-250; but you'll end up paying $200-250 depending on how relentless you are on your bidding.

Amazon.com. If you catch them when they go up you can get one with Wii sport for $250. I bought one just before Christmas.

Craigslist! If you live in a big city, there are always tons of people trying to sell/trade/exchange for services rendered. Oftentimes there are people who just want to offload their system quick and will offer it at a cheaper price than at a lot of places. It's not a perfect system and you run the risk of dealing with regular people, but it can be a very valuable tool!
