When installing dvdx you will be asked a few options go to the one that says normal if you have a softmodded wii else click on patched or something.
Step 3 ::
Using Wad Manager install my custom made channel. I have tested this and it works as long as you have your APPS folder in the root of the SD Card and the mplayer folder in there with the name mplayer don't change this as it could cause conflict. . Thank you so much for reading this. Leave any comments and rate properly. USE AT YOU OWN RISK.. I HAVE TESTED AND WORKED FINE. AS LONG AS YOU DON'T CHANGE THE MPLAYER FOLDER NAME.

The channel is used to launch 'homebrew' applications which are homemade Wii applications. These range from DVD playback applciations, to home made games and everything in between.
Installing the channel is a bit strange and requires a copy of Twilight princess, but everything is explained well on the website where you can download the channel: http://hbc.hackmii.com/
Note that this channel is not supported by Nintendo.

The most "interesting" channel available for the Wii is the homebrew channel.
