Suggestions for a nice and affordable hotel in Australia
From February 5, a week at a time, will travel around between stays. 2 adults + 2 small kids. Needs to have nice pool.
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Wow, so many options. First you need to pick a city. I enjoy staying in Sydney so I will give you my favorite from there.
The Hotel Novotel Brighton Beach. Affordable rates and near the airport.

Ok, we might go to Sydney as well, thanks for the tip! Actually, the important location is missing (Mahalo?) from my question, namely that we are going to the Surfers Paradise area. I've looked at a lot of options, but everything seems either not particularly attractive, or just too expensive. I'm looking for something neat (not luxury) and affordable for a family. Apartments, hotels, anything.
Thanks!
