They are both real people. You will see them do most normal things during their term(s) in office I am sure. This is only strange to people who got used to the stilted unreality of Bush and Cheney. I expect Obama and Biden will even go out for a beer together from time to time, in which case it is quite likely they will drink Yuengling, a Pennsylvania beer that Obama tried while campaigning.

I just watched the news clip and wanted to record that Obama ordered a cheddar cheeseburger medium well done with mustard (spicy if available) not ketchup. An excellent choice.
