Why does Newsweek claim that the recession is over? Do you agree or disagree?

As far as I can figure, a recession is caused by people not creating wealth. If you're not producing wealth, you can't spend it. So until we stop losing jobs, the recession is not over. So America, get to work and produce wealth! If you can't get hired, start doing work on the side, or start your own business, or move to an area that has jobs! We can do this, people. Summary: the recession is not over.
