I took a PolySci course in college and we did a simulation where we all took a country and dealt with some global issues as a member of that country. One of the things I took away from this was, NEVER interfere with middle-east country.
Any country that has a belief that if you don't believe in what they believe you are meant to be punished/killed (if you don't convert) should be avoided.
I'd say... get the hell out of Dodge...
