Ling and Lee were reporting on the trafficking of women and were arrested on March 17 for suposedly entering North Korea illegally.
Courts sentenced them in June to 12 years of hard labour. However, former President Bill Clinton, along with the support of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, intervened and persuaded the country to release the journalists.
