I think the future of the print newspaper has gone by the wayside. The Internet has completely stolen it's thunder. With new mediums like the iPhone, the Kindle and and other portable devices, people will not have a need for print any more. Now that you can "Purchase Coca-Cola in Japan Using Your Cellphone" : http://uk.gizmodo.com/2006/09/29/purchase_cocacola_in_japan_usi.html- it won't be long until you get everything on your phone or pda.
