I don't think it is very courageous to oppose to a new health care system when you know the current one is all but bankrupt, and is in dire need of replacement, and which leaves many americans unensured.

The true problem with the current healt system is that many parties in the health-care system are making a truckload of money by keeping the system as inefficient as possible, and they therefore want to keep it that way. They have probably lobbied with Sen. Bennet quite succesfully, and with that have 'convinced' him to oppose the current proposed Act.

That's not courageous. That's dumb.

If he's been in the Senate for 20 years while doing nothing to promote universal health care, he is no patriot! And obviously, what is politically expedient is going to be what Americans want. You get votes by supporting popular legislation. This Senator must be choosing the lobbyist money instead.
