Several sources mention his attempts to bring 1,000,000 men armed to Washington DC. It doesn't seem likely, which is just as well, because if he had decided peaceful wasn't enough at the last minute, even a few thousand might have been a problem.
I wouldn't go so far as to say that every single concern of every single group calling itself a militia is irrational. As a whole I think their approaches are almost all misguided, and some are racist and vicious.

Open Thread: Report says groups like the Ohio Militia are on the rise
According to a report by the Southern Poverty Law Center militant groups are on the rise in the U.S. What are their major gripes against the government? Do you think such groups are paranoid/irrational or do you agree with some of their concerns?
