It's to take "our" focus off the real problems going on in the world like North Korea, Iran, Honduras and children starving in Africa. Welcome to the American media machine. You would think North Korea threats to launch rockets at Hawaii would take precedence... It's an interesting time and place in which we live.

That is the most American statement I have heard all week. I think starving children and the world wide recession is way more important then an accused child molester. IMHO

The fact that the city of Los Angeles is stuck with a $1.7 million bill is sickening. I don't really care what the man was accused of or what impact his music had on anyone, the disruption and distraction that was caused by people over inflating this man is also sickening.
