I think it will be good 50:50 issue with 50% not liking "Obama considering himself to be good enough bowler to participate in special Olympics" - Republicans would love to use this like "Pig and lipstick" statement of Obama.

Anyways, it's already being covered by the big news agencies... http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2009/03/president-ob-15.html amongst others.
Hopefully this will just blow over.. it was an off-the-cuff remark that he quickly realized it was a mistake. We don't need to spend a lot of time dwelling on it.
I also think he misinterpreted when Jay Leno made a comment about the 90 percent, and congress... I believe Jay Leno was making a comment about the congress potentially passing a bill to take back 90 percent of the AIG bonuses through a special tax specifically targetting these people. However, Barack seemed to take it as if Jay Leno was making a comment about the 'only increase the taxes of the top 5 percent'.. (not increase taxes on 95 percent of americans) of his policies..

Probably. The peril of doing talk shows is the opportunity for gaffes. Obama is a gifted speaker, and any chink in the armor will probably be exploited.

Personally I am not a fun of Obama. Anyhow he was just making a comment to make fun of himself. The media needs to stop taking every word out of the context to attack a person just for the sake of making a "news". Same goes rules should be applied to Democrats & Republicans, Old and Young, Men & Women, Christians & Muslims, etc.

I did think that... it was a stupid comment to make.. along the lines of "that is so gay"... I would also bet that some people in Special Olympics bowl at a level comparable to professional bowlers. Anyways, it's already being covered by the big news agencies... http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2009/03/president-ob-15.html amongst others.
