Her release was no olive branch to Obama... it was because some nations taking a neutral stand WRT Iran told Iran that they would start favouring the other side against Iran if Iran didn't release the woman.
Specifically, Russia told Iran to let her go.
The decision was recommended by Ahmadinejad, and made by Khamenei.

Is Iran reaching back to Obama with freeing of Ms Saberi? Was it ordered by the Ahmadinejad administration or by Ayatollah Khamenei himself?
