Are you referring to Political Sim as in a simulation game? If so, I highly recommend Stardock's 'The Political Machine.' A little less relevant now that the 2008 election is over, but it's great fun at any rate.

You'll be hard-pressed to find a political strategy game that looks anywhere near this good. It is by Eidos, the same people that brought us Deus Ex, which I think is one of the best games ever made. The reviews for this game are mixed, however, if you enjoy the concept of fighting for your system of government to take control of a country in turmoil, then you will enjoy this.
You choose what form the revolution will take and who you will fight for. Eventually, if you succeed, you will lead your party to victory.
