Next Question
This is my opinion only..
Obama is a small factor when it comes down to war. Many people make the decisions, many people fight the battles, many people guide the missiles. Its not all Obama.
Really what you should ask is, Can the STATES defend South Korea ? This is the real question, and a good one at that. For the states is already severely in debt do to the other wars they are currently involved in , as well as the recession of the economy. The States in all honesty is in no position to get into another full frontal war. NO good will come of it. What North Korea is doing is wrong, yes. But I think its time the States asks Russia, China, Japan, Canada and Europe to speak up and stop trying to take every world issue on their backs. They could barely handle it when they first did, and they especially cannot handle it now. The states are NOT the * WORLD POLICE * but have been forced to act as it for some time. I think that the states should be happy with playing a mild role in this issue, and the other parts of the security council of the UN to act out. If the states does something without the full will of the UN, the States will dig itself into an even deeper hole that its already in.
IMO I think Obama can do this, but it is NOT his job to play WORLD POLICE. All USA actions in this issue, should come from the UN and no where else.
