Do you think escape artist Kristen Johnson really passed out during the act at a recent NBA game?

Escape artist Kristen Johnson, who performs with her husband, magician Kevin Ridgeway, regularly performs an escape act from a water torture cell. During an act at a NBA game in Oklahoma City in January, her husband had to save her from the tank after she reportedly passed out due to a lack of oxygen and suffered a seizure. Some bloggers speculated it was a publicity stunt. Did you see the video? Do you think she really passed out? After performing the act so many times, why would she pass out this time?

I don't think so. She's performed the act over 600 times. Something is bound to go wrong once in a while. She said in an interview that due to her lack of oxygen that she was unable to give her partner the signal that she was in danger. She has performed the stunt successfully since, but refuses to watch the video, stating "ignorance is bliss."

Nope... not a publicity stunt. That's NOT a way to do a publicity stunt (unless you're Penn & Teller). You can clearly see that see goes into shock and goes limp. But... then again...
