for some strange reason i beleive they DO think he is funny. i think he's quite unfunny to the point a .357 magnum being discharged in close proximity would be infinitely funnier than he is. in fact i'd go as far as to say that I'm funnier.....good luck jack, if that is your real name anyway,....

No I don't, though I liked him in the first movie where he appeared ("High Fidelity"), but that character was almost completely based off of a certain character from the book it was based upon. And he was pretty good in "School of Rock".

So pretty much if it's a movie with Jack Black that happens to revolve about music, then yeah it might be good. Otherwise, run.

The irony about that statement is I saw he and his buddy the "band" Tenacious D "guest open" for Stone Temple Pilots once in Vegas back in '99 or 2000 and they would've been booed off the stage had they not had a captive audience just there to have a great time, and been allowed to leave. I was right near the stage (no seats, so I was maybe the equivalent of 3-4 rows back) and did give quite a few one finger salutes which I'm sure were quite visible to them on stage. I would've thrown a beer but didn't want to get thrown out.
