Yes, they did. As of today, May 11, 2009, the U.S. Postal Service has raised the cost of a first class postage stamp two cents - from $.42 to $.44. It will now cost $.28 to mail a post card (up one cent) and the cost of a large envelope has gone up five cents to $.88.
